Well, I am. I'm even straight! (Husband doesn't want kids, either.)
I don't actually think this was written by a woman.
I'm child free (33, female). My parents think I'm in the category of "I want to have kids eventually, but not now," so they frequently send me sad, sad essays about people who wanted to have kids but waited too long. But I'm in the category of "Um, yeah, not really that interested." If I suddenly need to parent, there are lots and lots and lots of little kids out there who need a secure loving home. I'm not that attached to my own gametes. When I think about it in those terms, in fact, I start envisioning _Triumph of the Will_ screenshots. Sorry, breeders, but I think your obsession with your own genetic offspring is gross.
