I know that there are differences in quality and prestige among programs. But the top 30 or so probably all offer pretty strong training.

Also, Univ of Houston has now joined the big league. It used to the, what, in the 90s, now ranked at #51. Impressive.
They've made some great hires in IR the last few years.

unc ranked 11 overall, but only ranks in one subfield, and that's 12 in american. curious...
