Yet, to be fair, Nexon had good policies toward China and the Soviet Union. He should have burned those tapes.

This guy is a tool.
Post This is a great thread topic. I want to add he’s one of the most arrogant profs in the field for absolutely no reason. On several occasions he’s tried to engage in my area, with such cockiness, and knows soooo little. Not even in the top 50 in polisci, 23rd in IR, according to the new rankings. Just north of the likes of CMPS and FPA! UTK people aren't great, but are trying their best to stanch the breach, and these rankings lag a couple years anyway. So are we finally going to get around to discussing how desk rejecting stuff that ended up at IO/JOP/JCR, publishing pieces on how Tom Clancy won the Cold War, and otherwise pushing a perestroika/woke-driven agenda without a real understanding of what actually matters to the discipline, fundamentally drove one of the best IR journals straight into the ground?
