Pretty much everyone is experiencing some form of hardship, and some people have lost their family members to COVID-19. It's not business as usual. It's not a minor inconvenience. This is the time to give people the benefit of the doubt instead of hating on them.

Yes, I don't understand why that is not the only thing we're talking about. 2 million worldwide dead from this, 400,000+ in the USA alone. Our USA friends are really struggling with this. More people are dead from COVID than combat troops in World War II at this point. It's a real tragedy for them. Maybe they're trying to deal with their grief by ignoring the elephant in the room.
