Best polisci journals for more qualitative research

ABD in IR/CP trying to navigate which journals would be best to send to and with a reasonable turn around time. Any thoughts on CPS, IO, World Politics, and ISQ? Thanks!

It used to be CP, but they're publishing more quant stuff.

You could also read the journals yourself.

I think generally speaking, CPS, CP, and WP are all open to qualitative stuff. CPS publishes the least, however.

Lower value venues would be SCID and area studies journals.

IO, World Politics, and ISQ are all open to publishing qualitative, but in my experience it can be more difficult because reviewers expect the same "empirical rigor" as they do in quantitative work, but there are no shared expectations about what constitutes rigor in qualitative work b/c of limited training. So it can be idiosyncratic in terms of whether the reviewers you get happen to be convinced by what you did.
