BLM riots vs. Capitol riot
-
In the early hours of June 2, 2020, David Dorn, a 77-year-old African-American retired police captain, was fatally shot after interrupting the burglary of a pawn shop in The Ville, St. Louis. The incident is associated with protests in St. Louis, Missouri over the killing of George Floyd. However the protest was several miles away and had disbanded a few hours earlier near the Metropolitian Police Headquarters downtown after clashes between agitators and police officers turned violent.

You forgot about 4 or 5 in Dallas.
I think what we heard back then was, "It was largely peaceful with a few bad actors." I feel like I've been hearing a lot of the same recently from somewhere.5 cops killed in Dallas in 2016

5 cops killed in Dallas in 2016
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_shooting_of_Dallas_police_officersIn this case, the shooter was not a participant in any political protests or demonstrations, though you could say, I suppose, that he shared their grievances (among others). Still, he acted alone and without coordination - this is not the same as a mob of protestors beating a man

Yes, one man killing five is worse than five men beating up one.
