It sure seems not, so I'll offer a quick primer:
1) Rioting that does not attempt to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power is not a coup attempt. It's bad, and it should be condemned, but it is not a coup attempt.
2) An assault on the US Capitol, instigated by a defeated president who refused to accept his loss, in an effort to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power is a self-coup (autogolpe) attempt.
The second is much, much more serious than the first.
