Hospitalizations quadrupled in the last four weeks, at current pace will surpass Dec/Jan peak in a week. In-person APSA is clearly madness, and unlikely to happen.

The latest APSA email is as surreal as it is frustrating. Look at the transmission rates in Kings County, and the growing evidence that the vaccinated can transmit the virus to their unvaccinated family members, including children. This is ludicrous.

I couldn't they have thought of this when they committed to it? I was asked early on to be on a panel and said I would only be willing to commit to virtual participation because of the covid uncertainty.
