Which of the British jobs that you’re not going to get appeals to you most? Least?
Durham, LSE, Royal Holloway, UCL

OP clearly has an affiliation with Royal Whocaresanyway and he’s trying to inflate its reputation. Glasgow should definitely be listed instead.
This post is equivalent to saying “Harvard, Princeton, Penn, SUNY Albany”
Royal Holloway only has one job posted. Glasgow (with four jobs) should be in this list though

Nope. Theorist in the US applying to each of these places, which happen to be hiring.

Ugh, another theorist. We already have so many of them in the UK. Hiring somebody who only generates theory and ignores empirical testing is like buying a car that has only an engine but no wheels.
I think you're mixing up normative and positive theorists. With positive theorists, at least get you a car, even if it doesn't have wheels. Normative theorists, on the other hand, will only tell you that cars deserve descriptive representation and will undoubtedly feel better once they get it.

UCL will go for US ABDs, Durham will go for a UK postdoc. I want this to be pre-registered.
The Royal Holloway ad says it's for someone working on 'race and ethnicity' so it's a diversity hire by the back door. LSE will go to a 'market star' and Durham and UCL will go to insiders. So really: 0 jobs.
