    I don't know if there was some really bad stuff on that thread, but it seems to me that a thread about senior people at leading depts arguing about scholarship and malfeasance is far better than 99% of what is posted here.

    Hajnal and Lajevardi clearly wrote a deceptive response to the Grimmer et al. piece. Either they intentionally tried to deceive readers about the criticisms made by Grimmer et al. or they were just too stupid to understand them.

    Apart from the claims of there being a white gang mafia, no one has actually mounted a defense of the analysis conducted by Hajnal and Lajevardi.
