OMG, covid panic warriors are such blubbering moruns.
They are cow@rds!
No one wants anyone to die. We want people to take this seriously and to think about the long-term health of their students, staff, and faculty rather than a short-term budget slump that can be managed by either tapping into the endowment, or by more creatively marketing online course offerings (there are lots of unemployed mid-career professionals who want to go back to school right now and can't or won't attend classes on campus).

LOL! more blubbering stewpidity!
"We want people to take this seriously." What is this, the Tinkerbell virus? We all have to believe
I want you to grow a brain and realize that it has to run its course like all cold/flu bugs. Restricting economic activity just hurts young and poor people.
The longer you try to restrict people's daily activities, the more out of sync their immune systems will fall with the current array of germs in circulation. Long-term it's just not realistic solution.
