Here's a big-budget Hollywood movie that's literally about hunting conservatives
-
^ Combined with Joaquin Castro doxxing supporters and being like, "I didn't give addresses".
Well, I was thinking about people talking about killing Mitch McConnell and raping his wife and posing for photos holding the president's severed head up, but sure, that's another example.

Funniest thing about this astroturf tempest is that conservadumbs just dont get satire.
It's funny how leftists hide behind "satire". There's nothing satirical about it. To think that modern American culture (and especially Hollywood) has anything near the understanding or skill in nuance to produce satire is without a doubt the stupidest position ever taken on this board.

Anyone watch the trailer? Its red meat *for* the MAGA crowd. I guess this is how Hollywood shamelessly panders to middle America. gross.
It's telling that you refer to "the MAGA crowd" as non-human, as only brute animals who are thrown chunks of raw meat.
It's really not hard to see how you would approve of a film that shows people being treated as animals simply because you disagree with their politics. It's almost scary what we'll actually support, isn't it?

OK, I watched the trailer. I am a conservative, and I see that a lot of conservatives are up in arms about this movie. I guess I understand it to some extent, but I think that they are missing the point: in this movie, the "deplorables" are the heroes, right? The deplorables who are captured and taken to be hunted are the focus of the movie, and the bad guys are the ones who have captured them. The movie seems to be presented so that we are sympathetic to the captured deplorables and are pulling for them to kill the bad guys, who view the deplorables as less than human. The deplorables are the good guys!

And, of course, the movie is a satire! It is not actually advocating capturing anyone and killing them. It is a satire!
I saw the trailer, a$$hole. Blood, guts, and torture are not "satire."
By the way, you fully deserve your lifetime underemployment.Tenured professor here, and very happily employed. Of course satires can have blood, guts, and torture. You need to lighten up.
