   Could this be a good place to discuss how to use a PhD in political theory to get a non-academic job?

   I am fairly knowledgeable in history and politics of the US and at least one world region and I write quite well. How do I begin? University administration? Think tanks? Consultancy firms? Law firms? (though I'd hate to be a paralegal).
   Has anybody done this yet? Steps to follow?
