This is actually a pretty smart scam. Not sure why UGA police are cracking down, since it appears the textbook companies didn't complain.
Hot IR Department Secretary, BUSTED

The original story didn't tell the whole truth. I was a grad student and had books stolen from my office by someone with a master key. Professors had books stolen from their offices. These weren't just books that were mailed to us. Three were books I was using in my classes at that time and two were books I was using to prep courses from (but had not assigned) and were from presses that required that I pay for them if I was not adopting them. Not a victimless crime at all.

All well and good, Georgia bro.
But could you answer the real question: Is Julie as hot in person as she appears to be in the mug shots?

Wow. $28k in profits from used books means many, many books stolen.
