There are very strong local effects. The top Gtown people in some disciplines always get jobs through DC networking. Maybe Covid has strengthened the local effects?

They had good luck with placements about ten years ago, but it's been spotty since. They attract great faculty, but the program doesn't include enough advising, and many of the professors are either more interested in policy or looking to move up.
