They give him PhD for Bronze Age mindset yes?
Yale is not that good. It really ain’t.
His dissertation is 700 pages on plato broDude, the diss is only half on Plato. Learn before you post.
The diss is 300 pages on tyranny. And it's good.
Why did you think SS kicked out Costin? Is that what he is telling people to save face? Because he actually cited Costin’s diss approvingly in a workshop paper: https://cuptw.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/lincoln-and-the-problem-of-political-ambition.pdf
Funny how Mr. “I’m a good liberal democrat defending Lincoln” is citing a LARP Notsee.
Maybe -- just spitballin' here -- the diss is actually good, SS was his advisor, and yet he doesn't agree with his student. A shocking possibility!
tenured theorist here. i read the dissertation. it is very, very good. could have been made into a book, maybe two. sad that he didnt pursue a serious career of scholarship. instead he sh1tposts alt-right nonsense with occasional tinges of truth but overwhelmingly his points in BAP are obnoxious, offensive and just kinda handwavy. a real shame, couldve been a good scholar.

BAP has more influence than you will ever have. He has more of a following than you will ever have. He has rattled more cages than you ever will. Éff off with your "serious career of scholarship."

BAP detected
Just saying, BAP is infinitely more interesting than a dusty tenured has-been who clutches pearls about the alt right.

Maybe he's interesting, but he's a nobody in the scholarly world. He's basically a footnote for people who write on the alt-right.
is a certain Romanian who studied political theory at Yale, booted out of the program by SS?

Lina, Justin, and anyone else, I'm a journalist working on a profile of Alamariu. Did you know him? Can you talk about him? Please reach out: loganccarroll@gmail.com

Logan, you’re likely going to get irrelevant info from his academic acquaintances and wrong info from many others.
I do know that after his disillusionment with academia, he headed to India for a break. In Varanasi, he met a Naga Sadhu who offered to teach him Shaivic meditation techniques, and took him to an ashram tucked away in one of the Himalayan mountains. It is said that CA spent 3 years there. After mastering all eight of the traditional Siddhis, he felt a strong calling to *go down*, in the language of his western teacher Nietzsche, as his *cup* was full and about to overflow:
“Bless me, then, thou tranquil eye, that canst behold even the greatest happiness without envy!
Bless the cup that is about to overflow, that the water may flow golden out of it, and carry everywhere the reflection of thy bliss!
Lo! This cup is again going to empty itself, and Zarathustra is again going to be a man.”
— TSZ, Prologue
So down he went, first to Himachal Pradesh, then to New Delhi. That is where my knowledge of this episode ends. Did he go back to America? Or to Japan as he’d originally planned, to the land of another one of his dear teachers, Mishima? I do not know.
