I have a paper to present on my own and senior people in my current and previous institutions want me to partake in a panel (in an entirely different subfield than where the said paper of mine might belong). Usually, conference presentations would not be that important, I have some personal reasons to get both things through. Any ideas as to what the rules are this time around?
Is the 1 presentation per person policy still there for APSA 2017, SF?

Hi! President of APSA here!
Sure! We've just been planning putting this policy in for years and all the logistics involved are already in place, but OK! We'll change everything because your "personal reasons" require you to present two papers at our conference instead of just one!

The rule is about **PRESENTING**, not **CO-AUTHORING**. You can have the senior people submit the paper and then, you will do the presentation, but officially, they have to sign up to do the presentation because the rule is that you cannot do more than 1 presentation (you solo work). So basically there is a way to get around the rule.
