His bizarre obsession with the media's treatment of the inauguration does call his mental health into question?
Yea or Nay
There is no debate about his DSM-5 diagnoses: Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). In fact, in future editions of the DSM, Trump will be used as the classic example. Read the following and try to find any characteristic that doesn't capture him EXACTLY!
"The most important characteristics of NPD are grandiosity, seeking excessive admiration, and a lack of empathy (Ronningstam & Weinberg, 2013). These identifying features can result in a negative impact on an individual’s interpersonal affairs and life in general. In most cases, on the exterior, these patients act with an air of right and control, dismissing others, and frequently showcasing condescending or denigrating attitudes. Nevertheless, internally, these patients battle with strong feelings of low self esteem issues and inadequacy. Even though the typical NPD patient may achieve great achievements, ultimately their functioning in society can be affected as these characteristics interfere with both personal and professional relationships. A large part of this is as result of the NPD patient being incapable of receiving disapproval or rebuff of any kind, in addition to the fact that the NPD patient typically exhibits lack of empathy and overall disrespect for others."
And this is now the guy with control of the nuclear football. We now have two NPDers with their fingers on the nuclear trigger, and now they are hanging out together in Hong Kong: https://www.hongkongfp.com/2017/01/25/hkfp-lens-donald-trump-kim-jong-un-impersonators-give-hongkongers-fright/
America, what have you done?

Trump scores a 24 on the narcissism measure. Identical to Hillary. A score of 75 indicates a mental health concern. A score above 85 indicates a personality disorder.
No Trump will not be used as a classic example.

What a great source. If we're to take it as credible then there are tons of "credible" accounts of Donald Trump's insanity. Links on that page include articles such as "Trump Driven by Narcissistic Dreams of Glory", "For Trump, It’s About America’s Ego — And His Own", and "Donald Trump is a Unique Threat to American Democracy". By the way, that article about the dreams of glory was written by the study's author.
The 'October 2016' update explicitly identifies his personality as "amorous narcissism". Further, that 'score needs to be 75' thing is a complete fiction you just made up. 75 is no special mark in that study and Hillary did not receive 24.
This is either a really bad troll or the result of brainwashing. Either way, seek help

Here is the link to Hilary's scores. Yes she also got a 24.

Here is the link to psych central that explains interpretation of the Million Inventory diagnostic scores
https://psychcentral.com/lib/millon-clinical-multiaxial-inventory-mcmi-iii/
"For the primary clinical and personality scales, Base Rate scores are calculated from how a person responds to the questions on the test. Scores of 75-84 are taken to indicate a significant personality trait or mental health concern. Scores 85 and higher indicate a persistent, significant clinical concern or personality disorder."
This psychologists has been doing leader personality profiles for years so I am not sure why it is a bad source. What is the issue other than it doesn't confirm your belief?
Everyone agrees that narcissism will effect his leadership which is why the author wrote articles about it. But as you can clearly see that score is labeled as "mildly disturbed" so no it is not a personality disorder.
Yeah Trump is a "amorous narcissist" and Hillary is a "adaptive elitist narcissist" but those are names of leadership styles not personality disorders.
Yes, he's demented. No it's not a problem. I'd rather a president wear his craziness on his sleeve, than be so practiced at the art of deception that you don't know what the fieck is happening in the WH.
Ironically, it will make him easier to control, not harder.
Yeah, everyone's been able to control the s**t out of him, from his wives to his campaign managers to his friends and reality TV bosses. It's almost as if his life has been a case study in submission to authority?

Also - I never knew that the DSM was actually written (in terms of syntax and style) by a fourth grade foreigner. Seriously, read it: they couldn't have put at least one English major on staff?
While I feel like a lot of his sparring with the media is a product of years of pent-up frustration with certain news outlets as well as a distraction-strategy intended to move attention away from what Trump is actually currently doing in the White House (executive orders and what not to undo the past 8 years), I am starting to get the sense that the man might also be delusional when it comes to certain aspects of reality.

I don't think Trump sat down and took the test. Who knows where they got 24 from. Meaningless. He meets every single criterion of NPD as far as I am concerned:
Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from others
Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
Self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people and institutions
Needing constant admiration from others
Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain
Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs
Intensely envious of others and the belief that others are equally envious of them
Pompous and arrogant demeanor
Comparison of DSM-IV and DSM-V on personality disorders, including NPD:
http://www.psi.uba.ar/academica/carrerasdegrado/psicologia/sitios_catedras/practicas_profesionales/820_clinica_tr_personalidad_psicosis/material/dsm.pdf
Much of this "political personalology" analysis is rooted in DSM-IV criteria and assessment tools. DSM-V provides some slightly different, more nuanced as opposed to laundry list diagnostic criteria.
An additional key characteristic which DSM-V should include: "Sees the world as a zero-sum game." THAT is the really dangerous part for political leadership and public policy.
And it might work for awhile, because for many American citizens the idea that the media is biased and makes up facts to support these biases seems plausible. And when the media goes nuts about the possibility of being moved to new accommodations across the street from the White House it looks like they are the narcissists, even if their is merit to their concerns.
