Lol I know
A "devastating blow?" Um, that's when you lose a family member or friend, get a cancer diagnosis, etc. WTF is wrong with this guy, seriously?
JH: The thing to remember is that your papers that accepted were also reviewed using the same flawed process. The errors in the process work both ways.
No, no, no. His published papers were published because good reviewers clearly recognized the merits of his work. The rejected papers are purely due to incompetence and/or malice.
Where was that thread about how political science is filled up with nice normal people, and PSR is a bunch of non- poli sciers making us all look bad?
Thankfully, JH and his emotional support twitter groupies showed us that, no, PSR isn't an aberration. It's just the most honest poli sci hot takes.
He is the first person I've ever heard of in academia who believes their amazing paper is better than what the reviewers thought. He's also the first person I've ever heard of getting a paper rejected and had reviewers that do so in bad faith. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else?
Have you met MH?
There are people suffering in Syria; but I’m sure this guy has problems too.
There are people suffering in Syria; but you are here.
Yes I am. I’m typing this from a beach restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay. About to order my second mojato. How are the crabs this year?
I'm the wrong guy to ask. Grew up too far inland to ever develop the skill of picking' crab or a taste for the meat.
