"Mixed Methods" is a phrasing which is concession to the non-causal folks who can't do anything sophisticated. "Multi-method" is what serious folks do, but also don't need to advertise. I've never read an experimental paper that obviously didn't have quant but more to the point qual as an aspect of the research design.
