I feel like the site has improved lately, actually.
Kirk here - Let's discuss how to improve PSR

Maybe explain why posts get deleted when they're more than 3 paragraphs long.
Give a list of words that are banned so people can actually communicate on your trash platform. What's the point of banning a word when people just add dashes or spaces, while a thoughtful post that uses the harmless word "jig-le" would be deleted.

It would be helpful if every publication-related thread that I write would not get deleted. It's frustrating to spend the time to write up a post that's intended to be helpful, but then have it auto-deleted.
We should be able to use the word "manu$cript" on this board. The fact that some 14 year old ruined that possibility is extremely annoying.

Must've been a good one.

It would definitely improve this site if the mods didn't deliberately allow the Michigan threads to stay up in spite of the many reports about them. It seems pretty dubious - maybe somebody should start keeping track of what gets taken down and what gets (tacitly or not-so-tacitly) encouraged?
