Recently there was a new paper that analysed which countries often appear as research objects in IR and which other countries are usually in a blind spot
I don't remember the author or the journal
Can anyone please link me to it?
Jeez, if we could only find a way to gather data on all countries in the international system, and answer important questions by somehow gauging the average and country-specific effects of certain factors on the likelihood of certain outcomes. That way, we'd have a counterpoint to scholarship that cherry-picks cases and causes and ignores everything else that doesn't fit the preferred framework.
What's that? Lolol, no thank you, sir. Quantitative research is a sham!
