And changed her name . . .
"America is not a racist country..." And then she proceeds to describe how her parents faced discrimination.
Serious question to Republicans: why does it hurt your feelings when people call out America on its racist past? Truth doesn't care about your feelings. Also, isn't racism what you proudly declare as American heritage (e.g. statues of Confederate generals who committed treason by murdering American soldiers)? If you think racism is good, why do you get triggered when someone calls you out on it? Isn't being racist a compliment for you guys?
Racism isn't a problem, it's a sensible defensive reaction to preserve the country in a decent condition.

They get triggered because it is a threat to be called a racist, since those who use it as an insult tend to view is as extremely heinous and would try to attack you for it. For example, imagine being called a Y3w in N4z1 Germany or a capitalist in USSR - not a bad thing per se and maybe even a compliment taken on its own merit, but quite dangerous to you.

So basically you snowflakes want a safe space. Is that it?

Yes in the traditional sense of the word (safe as in low crime, low drugs, no race riots, low vandalism, etc.), but not in the more recent sense which denotes a space where only one ideology is condoned and free speech is banned.

Sounds like you want the latter kind where your president has the DHS teargas and kidnap people who aren't racist.
Get used to it, paleface.

Certainly not. I would prefer racial homogeneity and diversity of opinion with freely expressed objections, the traditional recipe for success. No need to kidnap anyone for holding anti-racist views nor even censor their comments on the internet.
please take a guess at the % of "whites" alive today in the US whose ancestors benefited from that "~200 year head start." Look if up if you aren't sure. We didn't all come off the Mayflower you know.
Yeah I mean whites only had a ~200 head start socially and economically. Totally fair judgment.
A fair judgement would be that racism still exists but there are no meaningful racial barriers to a successful life in America.

Diversity of opinion? Then why do you snowflakes cry when you're told Jesus wasn't white or that God is just Santa Claus for the feeble minded?

Maybe... because... most Republicans aren’t racist? Naw can’t be, Professor Zlorp says Republicans dogwhistle
