A few of the NYU posts mention some controversial denials. Who have they denied? I can’t think of anyone offhand but they’re probably not in my field.

No comment on this guy except that after the NYUY stint he went from Bristol to Michigan State. That was clearly voluntary, but why? Is there really a big difference between these universities? Bristol is nice. E. Lansing, not so much, I think. Maybe some people want to be in the U.S. and I guess the $ could be better, but he's European.
Interesting. JE had a tenurable record, curious what happened there.
A good example of how borderline cases can be sunk if you don't get along with some of your colleagues. Which is a shame.
