It's probably false; the person making up "special entitled snowflakes" teaching anecdotes has pretty clearly outed themselves as not in academia. (This one could be true, but it's much more likely it's another made up anecdote from someone who does not teach, and it doing a silly culture war bit.)

Maybe, but I give everyone max points on writing assignments so I don’t have to read them. AI alone didn’t get him to #2. The highest scorer was a girl two SDs above him. I had to throw her score out and use lax bro as my anchor for norming. I ha/te it when that happens.
