Nuffield news?
Short list next week.
They seem to care more about pedigree than potentialI don't think so. Recent fellows were from EUI, Northwestern, Reading, among others.
They do select a lot of people from Oxford though.Current fellows are from:
Oxford: 3
EUI: 1
Northwestern: 1
Reading: 1
Yale: 1
Columbia: 1
LSE: 1
Harvard: 1So, with the exception of Reading and Northwestern, it is partly a matter of pedigree (and talent too, obviously!).

How many years post-PhD do you become inadmissible for postdoc? Particularly the juicy fellowships at Harvard, Stanford etc?
And how many years of postdoc makes you look silly when applying for a TT? Currently on one and considering applying for a postdoc in case TT don’t come through
