MY personal gave is the s+00pet witçh who states "OMG PSR is so ray cest and misogynistic ! "
Welcome to America, ya s+00pet witçh !
I love the idea that PSR will ever recover. The site has lost pretty much everyone who ever came here from the discipline of polisci... and even casual viewership has cratered over the past year.
PSR doesn't need to recover from some twitter indictment. It needs to recover from its ongoing irrelevance.
^so in your view everyone is aware of this site (see: twitter) and knows all about what typically gets posted here (again, twitter) but no one ever visits. How do you think the people who get attacked here know so quickly that they have been attacked and then post it on twitter? The "four people" who are here on any given day must alert them very quickly!
tldr: you are wildly mistaken about how many people visit here regularly

You sound really desperate. Why are you trying to convince yourself that this site matters? Every available site metric confirms what I've said. Unique visitors have cratered. This site is irrelevant to the discipline of political science.
Why are you so invested in the fantasy of its ongoing relevance?
^oh so since you have no rebuttal to my arguments you have decided to go ad hominem. As a matter of fact I have no stake in the site. I am just chatting here. But whatever helps you deal with your intellectual inadequacy and delusion is fine with me.
You haven't answered the question: why are you so invested in the fantasy of this site's ongoing relevance?
Brutal. Everard crying losing hoap.

I don't think very many people at all are aware of what gets posted here until it gets a mention on the vastly more impactful platform of Twitter.
The attacks on individuals (whether personal or professional, out of bounds or in bounds) are sandwiched in between the maniacal ravings of one guy who thinks that conservative radio hosts "took his papers" and another guy who blasts amateurish insults of opposing partisans between 40 and 80 times a day. So the posts are not exactly bathed in credibility as commentary by stable, relevant, influential people in the profession.

Most political scientists aren't on here, but most who use Twitter are on here as well. They post "way to go" on Twitter and then come here to trash people.

Oh, cool. We're in the made-up statistics part of the thread. A PSR classic!
True, there are no statistics on this. I may be wrong. This is based on anecdotal evidence from experiences with people I know (caught using PSR or overlap between comments in private settings with posts), as well as the amount of Twitter content that is on here. The people I have caught on PSR at conferences or in the office are all big Twitter users. Everard, I'm assuming you are also on Twitter and visit this site regularly.

There is a flip side to this. I, for example, only have like 3 twitter posts in the last 5 years because I'm on the market and it seems like being unknown is less of a liability than saying something on twitter that gets passed around for the wrong reason.
