Does anyone know if there has been any movement on the political psychology position here?
University of Nebraska

That position is listed as Assistant Professor of Psychology. You might get a courtesy appointment in political science but they are looking for somebody with actual credentials in psychology.
Nebraska is a sincerely weird department. Was quite respectable in the mid 2000s. Bio politics sort of fizzled out. Nobody cares. Dept is objectively less good, but considers itself a premier place. New Asst. haven’t been that great. Would think they target advanced APs.

You know considerably less about Nebraska than you think you, Kelvin. I expect this isn't the only topic where we'd find this dynamic, if we explored further.

Back in the days (and still true for you today) when you could read about people you don't know getting jobs at universities that would never ever consider you. That was useful!!
As always, PSR is full of purposeful miscommunication. The job listing says Lincoln and the Political Science department.
I miss the days when this website was useful.
