   can they maybe find some way to move things forward? I do not know where the bottleneck is but that part of the process is going to need to take some shortcuts until the backlog is resolved. Otherwise SPSA should consider finding another team to run the journal who can do it competently.

   Are you a theorist? Because in that case you shouldn't have submitted to JOP. Shame really, it was the de facto flagship of our subfield under previous two editors, but now it seems we lost it to the quants.

    They do desk reject. Took about three weeks. Decent comments. My experience is that a lot of journals are slow these months
